The West Island Women’s Centre (WIWC) is a dynamic and widely-used non-profit community organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of women. We provide educational, social and recreational services for women living in the West Island and the community at large. The Centre is open to all—without regard to age, race or socio-economic background.

In mid-September, the West Island Women’s Centre will be re-locating its operations to the Presbyterian Church of St. Columba-by-the-Lake, 11 Rodney Avenue in Pointe-Claire. The Centre’s entrance door will be located off of the parking lot on Vincennes (cross street: Belmont).

Office Hours


The office is open from 9:00- 11:00 a.m. and 1:00- 3:00 p.m. from Monday through Thursday.  If you need to reach any member of the board, or just want more information about the Centre, we will be happy to pass on your message or provide details.  We can be reached at 514-695-8529.


 

What's Happening This Week

The office is open at Valois United Church.  We will be here until construction is completed at St. Columba.

The Fall Registration 2010 newsletter is now posted in the Newsletters section of this site.

Existing members may register until September 9th.  This must be done by mail.  New members, and those members who miss the deadline, can register at Open Registration on Tuesday, Sept. 14th (9-11 am, 1-3 pm and 7-8 pm).  Open Registration will take place at Valois United Church in Upper Hamilton and the office.
